James R. Terry Jr leads the R & D team at Final Four Productions

​James R. Terry Jr., known as Jim to his friends and associates, is an over 30-year veteran of the entertainment industry. He started as a 35mm and 16mm projectionist, offline videotape editor, and part time writer for Jim Terry Productions, his father’s company. He later attended Los Angeles City College to learn the language of the industry as well as to add skills including film editing.

Jim is a Jack of All Trades, which includes having been an extra in ‘This Is Spinal Tap,' Rob Reiner’s first film as a director. He has done camera, editing, directing, and acting in various small projects in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.

A technology enthusiast, Jim is well versed in the new technologies for capturing and editing performances in the new media. He is a true film buff knowledgeable in the old and new cinema.

Final Four Productions is honored to host Jim’s Film Reviews: He hopes “they will be helpful in your next Netflix / movie going experience." Jim is also the star of his first Webseries – ‘Me and Jim,’ which is currently in post-production.
